I must be slightly older than my contemporaries in the digi scrapbooking world. I think I am my future self right now. haha So I sorted and organized advice I have been given or learned over the years. Not a bad reminder. Cheers!

Challenge #8: Bingo
The author of this challenge created a 5x5 grid of items to include on a page. We were to choose one row or column or diagonal and complete a page using those items. My items are page borders, 2 lines of journaling, a large title, three photos and cork or wooden arrow. Done and done!

Challenge #7: Collage a large number of photos
I enjoyed this one a lot. I had all of these photos from 1993 when the Mississippi River came over it's banks and threatened a lot of communities but especially ours in downtown St Louis. I made a 5 x 5 grid and then eliminated some of the sots, combined others, and stretched some as well. It dramatically tells the story but limits it to a single page.

Challenge #6: A Dispersion Technique
We were to use a dispersion technique. Instructions were provided for completing this in Photoshop. The technique itself was not difficult but finding the right image was complicated. I finally chose Caite kicking a soccer ball and the white matter leading from her foot to the soccer ball just coming of the photo demonstrates the technique and the power of the shot.

Challenge #5: A people-less page
When in France, I took a lot of images of famous buildings from the bottom up with a background of clouds.

Challenge #4: Change Your View
I personally like the angle of this digital lay out and the repetitive nature of it from photo to paper. There is a lot of white space which is also restful and complimentary colors as well.
